AC2 User Meeting 2023
From 27 to 29 November 2023, GRS will hold its biennial AC² user meeting at its Garching location. The main objective of the meeting is to provide a communicative platform for the exchange of experience between users.
At the same time, the meeting offers the opportunity to get in touch with the developers and to give feedback on the existing features of the code package. Users can discuss their current applications, experiences, deficiencies encountered as well as ongoing and future activities with the AC² simulation codes ATHLET, ATHLET-CD, COCOSYS and NuT and - if they wish – outline them in their own presentation.
Presentation of new features
In addition, the developers of GRS will inform users about new developments within the AC² code family and the future code strategy. The new version of the AC²-2023 code package and the simulation codes COCOSYS 3.2, ATHLET/ATHLET-CD 3.4 and NuT 2.0 contained therein will be presented. As a highlight, the brand-new neutron kinetics code FENNECS 1.0 and the simulation analyser ATLASneo 1.0 will be shown. Both codes have recently become part of the AC² code package and are included in the new version.
