GRS - The first 40 years (in German)

GRS

When GRS started its work 40 years ago, its founders had set it challenging tasks. It was to see itself as an 'independent, scientific, expert organization committed to objectivity' and to 'expand knowledge about nuclear safety (...) and to advance scientific progress in dialogue with the public' - 'in Germany and worldwide'. In addition, as it was already stated at that time in our social contract, 'special questions of environmental protection and safety research should be dealt with'. When we look back today with this brochure at what our colleagues have achieved since 1977, we find: GRS has more than fulfilled these tasks.
