9th SEDS Workshop
The primary objective of the workshop is to facilitate an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas and insights on the latest advancements and current challenges in the domain of extended dry storage of spent nuclear fuel.
Presentations
Participants are invited to share a 20-minute presentation summarizing their current research, results, challenges, or future projects. Supporting materials (e.g., abstracts, graphics) should be submitted to SEDS-Workshop@grs.de.
All materials will be uploaded to a temporary, encrypted, and password-protected cloud platform.

Proceedings
A citable proceedings document will be compiled from all contributions received following the workshop. Presenters are kindly requested to submit a summary of their presentation, comprising between one and three pages, which should include any key formulas, figures, and references. These should be submitted via email to SEDS Workshop@grs.de. Please note that submission of a summary constitutes agreement to publication.
Registration and Payment
Participants should complete the registration form below.
• Fee: 200 EUR
• Covers: Coffee/lunch breaks, buffet, and dinner
• Deadline for payment: 22 April 2025
Payment details will be sent after registration. If you do not receive them within five working days, please contact one of the organizers.
For a cancellation made up to seven days before the workshop, we reimburse 100 % of the participation fee. Afterwards, a cancellation fee of 100 % of the participation fee is incurred.
Accommodation
Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations. We recommend booking via established platforms early to ensure availability.
