(GRS-S 42) Nuclear Licensing and Supervision in Germany

With the amandment of the Atomic Energy Act (Atomgesetz, AtG) - which entered into force on 22 April 2002 - essential parts of German Nuclear Energy Law have been redesigned. The new objective of the act is to phase out the use of nuclear energy for the commercial generation of electricity in an orderly manner.
