About the 6th SEDS Workshop

1 - 3 June 2022 at GRS in Garching, Germany

The main goal of the workshop is to bring experts together and present and discuss recent developments and current topics in the field of the extended dry storage of spent nuclear fuel.

A detailed agenda will follow as soon as possible.

Presentation

We invite all participants to give a short overview of their current research activities, results, open questions or future projects. The duration of the talks should be around 20 minutes. Talks and any additional materials (e.g. abstracts, graphics) should be sent to the organizers and will be uploaded to a non-permanent and password-protected cloud space.

Proceedings

We will provide citable proceedings of all contributions. Therefore, we kindly ask all presenters to provide a compact of their work in advance via email. The compact should comprise at least 1500 signs and include important formulas, figures, diagrams and references.

Payment

A participation fee of 150 € is charged to the participants to cover costs of coffee/lunch breaks and the Buffet and Dinner. To complete the registration, the fee must be paid until 15 May. Details for the payment will be sent to you after completing the registration form. If for any reasons you did not receive the payment details three working days after your registration, please contact the payment office and chairs (see front page).

For a cancellation made up to seven days before the workshop, we reimburse 100% of the participation fee. Afterwards, a cancellation fee of 100% of the participation fee is incurred.
